Firmware Version: 1.3.3

Hi everyone,

I am looking into purchasing the Archer GE800 Wi-Fi 7 gaming router. It looks like an absolute powerhouse on paper, but before making such a major investment, I want to clarify a few things regarding its subscription features and get official confirmation on the actual internal hardware specifications.

Questions on WTFast GPN & Subscription Billing:

One of the main advertised features is the "Game Server Acceleration by GPN" powered by WTFast inside the Game Center. According to the setup guides, users can activate a free trial for the first month.

Is the GPN feature completely locked behind a paywall after the trial ends? Once that first month is up, do you have to pay a monthly/yearly subscription fee to WTFast just to keep using the GPN feature on the router at all?

Is there any sort of basic free tier? Does TP-Link or WTFast offer a limited, permanent free tier for GE800 owners (such as acceleration for just one specific device or a single game) without a paid premium plan? Or does the feature become completely grayed out and unusable if you don't subscribe?

Are other game acceleration features completely free for life? Just to be sure, do features like the hardware-dedicated Gaming Port, Mobile Game Acceleration, and AI QoS Application Boost require any subscriptions, or are they entirely local and free forever?

Questions on Exact Hardware Specs:

While the marketing materials highlight the BE19000 speeds and the dual 10G/quad 2.5G ports, I’d love for the community or a moderator to confirm the exact hardware specs:

Which CPU exactly is used inside this router? Marketing just says "Quad-Core CPU." What is the exact processor model number/chipset name (e.g., which Qualcomm Networking Pro series variant), what architecture is it based on, and what is its clock speed?

How much RAM did they give it? Is it packing 1GB or 2GB of DDR4 RAM? I want to make sure it has enough memory capacity to handle intensive local traffic alongside massive device counts.

How much flash storage/internal storage is on the board? Is there enough internal flash memory (like 256MB or more) to handle future firmware updates and stability patches comfortably over the years without running out of space?

When buying a flagship gaming router, the last thing anyone wants is to find out that its software features require an ongoing rental, or that the internal storage and silicon aren't robust enough to handle the 10Gbps ports under load.

If any GE800 owners or TP-Link moderators can share these specific hardware details and clarify how the WTFast billing structure behaves long-term, it would be a massive help.

Thank you!

WTFast is a pay-for service, always was.

As far as I can see it's independent of TP Link other than TP Link having implemented what's required by WTFast to enable use of it. It's much the same as what was available on the ASUS ROG gaming routers for some years but has been removed now.

In the interface you need to log on to WTFast and add specific devices for specific game profiles to use it. It's actually quite cumbersome.

The default subscription allows for 1 device only, there's an alternate 4 device profile subscription available (for the profile options that's all I'm actually aware of).

No login no service.

Hello @Pronoy009 ,

As a supplement to other users' input, here are two guidelines regarding the use of WTFast features:

How to Setup WTFast® GPN on TP-Link Gaming Router

How can I get the best online game connection with TP-Link Gaming Router and WTFast
