Hello @jamica ,
Welcome to our community.
Please follow the steps below:
1. Identify if it's an ISP issue
Disconnect the router from your ISP modem, connect your PC directly to the modem, and check whether you can access the specific websites. If the websites are still inaccessible when connected directly to the modem, the issue may be with your ISP rather than the router.
2. Check for VPN or proxy settings
Make sure no VPN or network proxy is enabled on your PC or phone, as these can interfere with access to certain websites.
3. Change the DNS server
Open the Tether app, go to MORE > Internet Connection, and change the DNS server to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8. After updating, reconnect your device to the router network to ensure the new DNS settings take effect. This is one of the most common fixes for this type of issue.
4. Check Parental Control settings
Review the Parental Control settings in the router's interface or Tether app to make sure content filtering or website blocking isn't affecting the sites you're trying to access.
5. Check Antivirus / Real-Time Protection
On some TP-Link router models, the "Antivirus" or "Real-Time Protection" feature may block certain websites it considers potentially malicious. Check the Antivirus or Real-Time Protection history to see if your business website is being blocked.
