Hi Support Team,

I am a user of your camera system and I would like to suggest a useful feature that would greatly improve the night-time monitoring experience.

Currently, the camera supports three night vision modes: Infrared (IR), full-time LED light, or Smart mode (which triggers the LED only upon motion detection). However, I would like to have more control over when the built-in LED light activates.

My specific use case:

  • Most of the night: I want the camera to stay completely dark and use standard IR night vision so it doesn't attract unnecessary attention.

  • High-risk hours (e.g., 2:00 AM – 5:00 AM): I want to set a custom schedule during which the camera will switch to Smart mode and turn on its built-in LED light immediately upon detecting motion. This would act as a great visual deterrent during the n

Proposed functionality:

  1. Add a "Schedule" option under the Motion Detection / Spotlight settings.

  2. Allow users to set a specific Start Time and End Time (including overnight intervals, e.g., 22:00 to 05:00) for the LED light activation.

  3. Outside of these hours, the camera should record motion normally using IR night vision, without triggering the white LED light.

This feature would give users the perfect balance between stealth monitoring and active deterrence.

Thank you for considering my feedback!

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback.

At present, our product features do not meet your specific request. However, we have documented your suggestion in detail and will forward it to our product development team for evaluation.

Furthermore, the functionality you mentioned appears to primarily target the Smart Spotlight rather than the camera's system status indicator (LED). To express your needs more accurately and make it easier for other users to find and understand, we suggest optimizing the post title to: “Request for Scheduled Spotlight Control in Night Vision Settings.”

This will help the community users and our development team better understand the specific application scenario of this feature.

If other users share the same need, we encourage everyone to upvote and leave comments under this post. Each detailed use case you provide will greatly assist us in assessing the priority of implementing this feature.

Best Regards,
