I have some cameras which would be much more useful if they were attached to be viewed in portrait rather than landscape. Obviously you can do this with the hardware, but the software displays the camera in landscape view.

 

It just needs an option to rotate 90°, maybe just a toggle like the Invert Image option.

Currently, the Tapo app does not natively support rotating the camera feed 90° into portrait mode. However, we will document your feedback and share it with our product team for future consideration.

 

As a potential workaround, you might consider using a third-party app that supports the ONVIF protocol and offers more advanced image adjustment options. Apps such as IPCams or similar ONVIF-compatible software often include settings for video rotation—including 90° rotation—within their advanced configuration menus.
