Why can't the SDcard content be downloaded to a PC via LAN?
I have to climb a 5m ladder and fumble mith microscopic screws to make a copy of the card of some of my 8 cameraes.
Fortunately the screws are eliminated on new models, but to remove/mount the card is still quite a challenge.

If you’re looking for a way to back up videos on a regular schedule, using a Tapo hub as the central storage point for your cameras is a good option.
Based on how many cameras you have, here are two suggestions:
- Tapo H200: This hub supports up to 4 cameras and stores video on a microSD card.
- Tapo H500: Comes with 16GB of built-in storage and supports connecting a hard drive for more space. It also has a USB port, so you can connect an external drive to back up videos from its internal storage. Tapo H500 - Backup Your Clips with USB Backup and Network Access (Sharing)
How many devices can connect to a Tapo Hub at the same time?

This is not a feature supported by Tapo camera. Your suggestion, however, is a valid request for future improvement. I have moved your post to the Feature Requests section so other users with similar needs can find it, vote for it, and join the discussion.
Adding new features requires rigorous evaluation and research, so we cannot provide any information on if or when this might be implemented. Since there are alternative solutions currently available that could meet your needs, I’d recommend exploring those first.
