Model: Archer C64
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: Bricked

Hello,I was updating the official firmware on my TP-Link Archer C64 V2 (US version) router. Unfortunately, during the update process, there was a sudden power outage (current went off). Now the router is completely bricked.I need to flash the original firmware to recover the device, but I cannot find the official Archer C64 V2 (US) firmware files anywhere on the TP-Link website.Could you please provide me with the official download link or the .bin recovery file for the Archer C64 V2 (US) hardware version?Thank you.

Use Method 1 to recover a bricked router - refer this FAQ.

From here you can download a FW release of your choice.

@terziyski Hello,Thank you for the response. However, the link you provided contains the EU version firmware (Archer C64(EU)_V2). My router is strictly the US hardware version (Ver: 2.0 US).Could you please check your database again and provide me with the specific US version firmware link or the recovery .bin file for Archer C64 V2 (US)?Thank you.

I am not a part of the TP-Link support team, thus I don't have any access to their FW databases. The official US branded FW release is nowhere to be found at the moment.

In a previous thread I wrote that the EU and US FW releases are quite identical and you could use the EU-branded files that are on the global support portal.

In this particular case, the regional settings are not part of the FW release published on the regional support portal.

You can take a look at this thread for more details on that matter.

If you insist on obtaining a US-branded FW release file for C64 v2, you have to contact your local support and ask them to provide one.
