Feedback / Feature Request: Full Web UI and Local PC Configuration for Deco Systems

 

I am writing to share important user feedback regarding the Deco product line, specifically the XE75 Pro model that I recently purchased.

 

I have noticed that the setup and advanced management of the system are almost exclusively restricted to the mobile application. Unfortunately, the current Web UI accessible via PC is extremely limited and mostly informative.

 

I would like to point out that many users strongly prefer, and often require, the ability to configure their local network directly from a PC. Managing complex network settings—such as routing, DHCP IP reservations, or port forwarding—on a mobile screen is not ideal for productivity, accessibility, or precision. Furthermore, the mandatory reliance on a mobile app and a cloud account raises valid concerns among users who prioritize privacy and local security management.

 

Could you please explain why the corporate decision was made to exclude a fully functional Web UI from Deco products? Are there any plans to release a firmware update that unlocks full configuration capabilities via a desktop browser?

 

Many advanced users choose TP-Link hardware for its excellent quality, but the lack of a comprehensive PC management tool severely impacts the overall user experience.
