Download / Upload Configuration of TAPO Camera
Since it's apparantly impossible to change SSID on the TAPO camera
could you then please allow us to Download AND Upload the configuration of the camera ?
this would allow the following:
1. download config
2. factory reset and connect to new ssid
3. upload config
4. continue to be happy

You ARE able to change SSID / Password, but it's just pure hell to do so...
I suspect TPLINK's neglegence is caused by greed, considering that all features in Tapo cameras are geared towards forcing users to buy a subscription or their ridicolously expensive, bad product: Smart Hub
it's insane that you are able to configure wifi connection post setup but only for Smart Hub.
Conclusive proof that TPlink are milking their customers.
They also designed the cameras so that the SD card never works - or only work with very few SD cards.. Which force you towards Smart Hub
They also didnt include SMB access to the SD Card ... on a LAN device ... but you can , with their Smart hub.
You also can't stream to FTP, only to cloud service...
milking, milking, milking, milking, milking, milking, milking :(

I'm not sure what Tapo cameras you are using, but the WiFi on my C210 & TC70's cannot be changed, except by performing a device reset (as per the other long standing thread).
I've never had any particular issue using assorted microSD cards in my Tapo cameras.
On the C210 & TC70, you aren't confined to 'cloud streaming'. If you enable 'Camera Account' under 'Advanced Settings' you can create a local login for use with ONVIF/RTSP streaming on a LAN.

Im aware that you need to reset the camera, that's why i want to save the config.
I've tested a few sd cards and only expensive cards work as they should. Even though the cheap cards are fast enough to record HD video on other devices.
I have 4x C320ws which can stream to RTSP. But it would have been nice if it could save files on smb or ftp instead. RTSP require a separate device to have continuous access. Or if it could just save files on sdcard and you could access the files via smb or ftp on the camera.
The fact that cloud is the only sensible solution suggest they are milking the customers.
Though , getting 1 month of video from 10 cameras for only 14$ pr month is very cheap
