Hardware Version : V1.0

Firmware Version : 0.9.1.0.1 Build 150826 Rel 42046n

ISP : Internode

The issue is devices fail to receive a DHCP address randomly.
A reboot of the router fixes the issue.

In the system log I see the following:

127 2016-05-16 17:58:24 DHCPD Notice Send OFFER with ip 192.168.1.195
128 2016-05-16 17:58:24 DHCPD Notice Recv DISCOVER from MAC ADDRESS








Basically a device is offered a IP address and it is declined and goes onto the next available IP address and repeats the process with the final result no IP address given to the device.

ISP : Internode

Anyone else having an issue with the DHCP server and devices failing to connect?

I had a similar issue when I was with BigPond ADSL2 and it turned out to be I had the setting PPPoA instead of PPPoE or the other way around. Anyway changing this setting fixed it.
I can't check my settings now because I'm with iiNet on NBN and am only using the D9 in wireless router mode.

Did you get a solution to this? I am having the exact same issues now with over 10 devices failing to connect and I spotted the same error in the router logs. All settings are find as far as I can tell. Resetting the router each time a device wakes up just isn't practical. So far setting every device to reserved address spot, essentially a static IP is the only work around I have found. 

 

Any got any ideas on what the cause is and how to fix it?
