Archer D7 - How to setup a simple VPN tunnel ?
Model :
Hardware Version : Not Clear
Firmware Version :
ISP :
Hi, sorry if the question have been already discussed, but I was unable to find it.
So, I have an Archer D7 with the firmware 160216
I need to access to my personal LAN from abroad, when I'm travelling.
The Modem/router has a PPPoA connection, and I use No-IP to keep track of the actual IP.
It is refreshed by the built-in option and it seems working properly.
I did not noticed special settings to allow the opening of a PPtP / L2TP / IPSec tunnel, no password setting, no access identification.
Just a page in Advanced -> NAT forwarding -> Application Layer Gateway (ALG) to enable these functions.
My Win10 (but Win7 was the same), setting up a VPN connection requires an authentication method. Which user+pw should I use in the router, where should I set it up ?????
Thanks for your suggestions, I'm really confused
Ciao
