Hi,

I just purchased TD-W8960N router from Amazon.in.
The main reason for purchase was the IP Qos / Traffic Control option as mentioned on the product page

During device configuration, I found that the IP QOS / Traffic Control option is missing in the Advanced Setup option. ( http://www.tp-link.in/faq-349.html).
(Refer to attached screenshot)


Details of the device are -
Firmware Version: 1.0.5 Build 160118 Rel.59896
Hardware Version: TD-W8960N V7 0x00000000

Please help.

I am having exactly the same issue. I've messaged TP-LINK to try find out why, I am updated to the latest firmware v7.

Did you manage to find a resolution?

I am having the same problem, please can someone advise why there is no bandwidth control setting. I am also using Version 7 (latest firmware)

I changed to a different router, TP-Link's customer service was possibly the worst i've ever encountered, no technical support on the issue at all.

For the QoS settings, we can click on Queue Config to set up the details. Details can be found in this link: http://www.tp-link.gr/faq-533.html
And the Traffic control/ bandwidth control function is removed on V7. As we can see, that FAQ ( http://www.tp-link.in/faq-349.html ) shows : This Article Applies to: TD-W8960N( V6 )
