My internet connection download at 8 Mbps if LAN is directly connected to my laptop/desktop. I am using TL- WR841N router and when I connect it through wifi the speed limits to 1.5 Mbps max. Please note that this is happening for downloading from torrent.

I have tried same movie within 2 mins for LAN and wifi. LAN downloading at 8Mbps whereas TP Linknical having only 1.5 Mbps speed.

I am not much of technical person and made no changes from default in router apart from password. I have Static IP connection.

I am only user of wifi.

Please help on it and let me know if any other info required to solve issue.
