Firmware Feature Request (Uptime Counter & Extend Port Forward Limit)
Model : Archer VR2600
Hardware Version : Archer VR2600 v100000000
Firmware Version : 1.4.0 0.8.0 v0050.0 Build 160518 Rel.50944n
ISP : BT Infinity 2
1. Uptime Counter on Status Page
On my old BT Routers, I could easily see the system uptime, this was important to monitor disconnections. I checked this every day.
PLEASE give us an Uptime counter in the Status box of the Advanced page, this is massively important to highlight any line problems etc.
Also is there an easy way to see when disconnections happened in the router logs? This is also needed if not.
This again is important to identify any problems, such as what was happening with my old router. It was easy to see when disconnections occurred, see here: https://community.bt.com/t5/BT-Infinity-Speed-Connection/BT-SmartHub6-Connection-Routinely-Dropping/m-p/1690758/highlight/false#M228997
2: Extend 16 port limit in Virtual Server Page
As it says, a limit of 16 ports is bugger all, we REALLY need the ability to set more.
16 is stupidly low of a limit, my old router 10 years ago allowed more than that.
I'm aware port ranges can be used, but this can mean forwarding way more than needed.
Below I've pasted list of ports I normally forward for my various games and applications, (some, like Ventrilo don't work at all if not!), see how a limit of 16 is basically nothing?
I've already condensed a lot of them into ranges. I could forward ALL 46(!) of these on my previous routers:
TCP/UDP 2300-2400
TCP 47624
