Hi,

My Archer D9 is having issues saving configurations, maintaining static IP addresses and I cannot port forward at all. I have tried to update the firmware from: 0.9.1 0.1 v0041.0 Build 160303 Rel.59004n to http://static.tp-link.com/res/down/soft/Archer_D9_v1_150826.zip. I have updated firmware in the past and I have tried via ethernet and wireless. I have also tried different computers and internet browsers and all of them result in the error:" Error Code 4503 The upload file was not accepted".

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? I have even tried to downgrade which should be possible but I continue to get this error.

As far as I am aware you cannot downgrade firmware once you have upgraded, especially to 030316 firmware. So I think you are stuck with it. TPLink have removed this firmware for download (at least from the UK site) as its too buggy. As is firmware 150826. See other threads for details.
Still waiting for TPLink to come up with a decent firmware for the D9. I'm back with a 2014 firmware.
I do however believe they have now abandoned the D9 and moved on. I for one won't be buying TPLink again.

Radar is correct. TPLink has given up trying to fix the D9 and settled on firmware 150826 as the best of the worst. 160303 was very buggy and locked the unit to their intended EU certification. Try asking TPLink support to send you firmware 160224, which will unlock the device so that 150826 (or older) can be installed.
