TP Link Arch VR900 setup no internet

Hi I'm hoping somebody could shed some light on my problem I've just upgraded from the netgear modem router than Karoo send out to the VR900 I've set up as instructed the network is created and is discoverable but says no internet connection also says on the configuration page to enter dns settings manually I've been fiddling all day and still no luck any help would be great thanks in advance Leigh
