TD-W8961N Internet connection keeps dropping

TD-W8961N Internet connection keeps dropping

Hi,
I just installed the Wireless N ADSL2+ Modem Router TD-W8961N and the internet connection keeps dropping every few seconds, The wireless is very stable but I practically have to try twice for a page to open, my provider's connection is fine because I'm not having this problem with the old adsl router when I connect it instead. I looked at the router's logs and I see this keeps repeating every minute:
2/16/2017 22:33:41> PPPoE: Send PADI
2/16/2017 22:34:11> Last errorlog repeat 3 Times
2/16/2017 22:34:11> Call Failed
Is there something I can do? something I haven't configured correctly because this can't be a normal behavior.
