TD-W8901G settings access
Model : TD-W8901G
Hardware Version : Version 6
Firmware Version :
ISP : White
Hi, I am seeking your assistance regarding my TP LINK TD-W8901G ADSL-2+ modem router.
On more than 1 laptop I cannot access its settings (Windows 7) and also when using Chrome, IE and Firefox
The webpage shows: This site can’t be reached - 192.168.1.1 refused to connect. No prompt for username and password.
I have retrieved the IP address from the run command and also I had a positive result when pinging it.
I have restarted the router, I have flushed the DNS and renewed the IP.
I have deactivated my Kaspersky Total Security.
The internet is working properly through a cable and also via wireless.
I have tried 192.168.2.1 and some other combinations.
The settings in the Internet Protocol Version 4 is "obtain automatically". Also in Chrome - advanced settings - change proxy settings - LAN settings : "Automatically detect settings"
The problem remained the same.
I am not at all an expert but I have read all this on the internet, I do not quite understand IT terminology.
Counting on your valued support,
I thank you in advance
