Hi,
I have a new Archer D5 AC1200 ADSL modem/router. The modem is connected to the internet, and accessing it through ethernet is fine. However, the Wi-Fi network is working sporadically or not at all.

The Wifi network worked fine at first, but in the last 24 hours, has become unusable. From even 1 meter away, the wifi network (2.4G or 5G) is not visible on any device, though sometimes it appears briefly with a very weak signal and then disappears again.
The router has the latest firmware (V1 Build 150526), and I have tried factory resetting without any change in result.






Do you have a solution to the above problem?

Firstly setup fixed channel and make router reboot,

I've tried that - including multiple combinations of channels. No improvement unfortunately - still either zero signal right next to the router or else a tiny signal that is not stable enough to maintain connection.

This should be a hardware issue I think, you should replace your D5 with a new one.

We have to check it. I can see AUTO on the screenshots.

I have the same problem and i have done many tests.

I have the same model Archer D5 TP-LINK. Can you tell me what type of screenshot you want to see? thank you.
