My 10 month old Archer D7 duel band has lost it's 5ghz band facility, it was working fine but now it will not connect. some help please

Is the model D7 or C7? Did you try reset it to factory settings? If no, you can have a try.

Also what's the hardware and firmware version of your router? You can go to TP-LINK website to check if it's up to date.

Model Archer D7 Vr1Hardware Archer D7 V1 00000000Firmware Vr 0.9.10.7 V 002d.0 build 140624 rel,5596NI contacted TP Link tech and they have sent me a beta firmware fix which I have not installed yet.I have not tried a factory reset yet.RegardsMany thanksBrian

Hey, is your model Archer D7 V1?
It's better to provide your current FW version.
Since differnet versions can't be updated each other, we'd better confirm the current version, such as EU/US/or AU.

My model is Hardware Version:Archer D7 v1 00000001, Firmware Version:1.6.0 0.9.1 v002d.0 Build 160216 Rel.57110n

I from time to time have 5Ghz wifi which goes down, I got to re-enable it from the management tool.

Installed it and works

Don't know yet if i'll keep losing my 5ghz wifi.
Only issue is the beta wallpaper.

Anyway thx a lot !!
