Deco M5 unit dead overnight
Deco M5 unit dead overnight
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
Dear Support-Team,
this morning I realized that my master Deco M5 unit obviously died overnight. All slave units are showing a red blinking light whereas the LED of the master unit is not lit at all. I tried to power cycle the unit with no success. No life comes into the unit. I have also checked it's power supply on another working unit and the power supply is fine.
Any suggestions?
Is the unit dead? Is there any reset procedure that I might try?
Thanks!

Hi, did your Deco also on longer power on?
Have you tried reset?
Was there any power outage or any firmware upgrade recently?
If nothing abnormal and the Deco lost power for no reason, please feel free to contact the local support team for warranty service;
Thank you very much.

@TP-Link yes it takes a long time to power on. Tried resetting yet still the same and it took some time since tne unit takes some time to turn on.
local support team can't determine which distributor sold it for the warranty. Gave them the serial nos already. This was a local purchase due to the nyc sticker on the unit. This was given as a gift just recently.
its quite disappointing.

Hi, Thanks for the update.
So the current issue is that Deco could be powered on but it took a long time to power on, like 5-6mints or even longer?--can I have a video clip of that?
By the way, did you use the original power adapter?

@TP-Link yes about that time. Yes adaptor and lan cable came out of the box. Will post a video of it.
