Using another router as a bridge for wired connections
Hello,
I'm considering buying a Deco M5 for my home as mesh networks are really promising and I need something that I can spread through the whole house. Also it is the only Deco that is sold around here. I've bumped into an issue though, in one of the corners of my house I have 2 pcs that do need to use wired connections and it seems like most mesh routers only have 1 additional connection.
While thinking about it I came to a possible solution which was using a cable to connect it to my old router and use it in bridge mode so I could have 2 wired connections coming from it. Does that work with the Deco? And if it does, can it affect the connections negatively?
