Hi

I've got an issue with my new AC3150 V1 (newst Firmeware, Access Point).

It's connected through WAN to a Cisco-Switch, from there to the homenetwork as AVM-Fritz-Box Internet-Router and my Qnap TS-453 NAS and other devices. Internet-Connection is fine (LAN and Wifi). There are following devices connected to the AC3150 via LAN: Sony TV, PS4 and a Yamaha Receiver. All those devices support DLNA.

On the Qnap NAS the app media streaming add-on is installed (DLNA mediaserver). With the old router/accesspoint I could see and use this app on my PS4 and play my music. Now with the new AC3150 the PS4 doesn't find the DLNA mediaserver anymore. All other devices which are not connected through the AC3150 to my homenetwork, still work with the DLNA app on the Qnap NAS.

Any idea where the problem with the AC3150 and DLNA is?

Thanks a lot.

It could be that the DLNA protocol the router supports is not compatible with that on your LAN devices. May contact tplink support to confirm.

Thank you for your advice. Wrote an email to tplink support a week ago but didn't get an answer yet.
