Hi! Need help with my network here.

I have a Archer c9 in my home. I want to connect a USBdisc to it so i can reach it from my laptop, ps4 and so on.

When i plug in my WD (small USBdisc who is powered through the USBcable) it will show up for like a min for two, then it disconnects again. When i change to my lacie rugged 1tb it will stay on for longer, but even that one has disconnected a few times.

With a USBstick i dont experience the same problem.

What to do?

The power demands of the drive may be a bit much for the router. Does the lacie drive have a separate power source? If so that may not be the issue then. My C8 has a WD drive on the 2.0 USB port and have had no issues. I do not have any device in the 3.0 USB. Might also want to try different USB cables.
