  @David-TP , I am really disappointed that this feature is not available and I probably would not have bought my Deco W7200 if I had known this ahead of time.  One of the main reasons this is important to me is that I use home assistant and a zigbee network to communicate with different sensors.  The zigbee network overlaps with the wifi network that my Deco chooses so I have constant drops in my sensors because I cannot choose a wifi channel that is lower to reduce this effect.  PLEASE, correct this issue!!!

Please bring this feature to Deco M4
Just a M4 (2-pack) user who regrets buying it

  @macombs

Until TP-Link sets up the ability to set the 2.4 GHz channel and also set channel width to be 20 MHz (instead of the 40 MHz they currently use), why not setup your zigbee network on channel 25 or 26? As seen in the diagram below, these are very unlikely to be interfered with by WiFi, even if WiFi uses channel 11 at 40 MHz width.

Allow manual configuration/selection of channels in the advanced menu. It's almost 2023, that's almost 4 years to develop this feature that has been a staple of routers since at least 2005.

A simple feature that lets the user to choose the channel for Wi-Fi and and option for the system to choose best channel automatically will improve the performance of this mesh router system.

Channels need to be selected by the user.

  @jcsogo Disappointed in my newly-bought Deco X55's inability to let me select the least congested channels. It auto-chooses the MOST congested and MOST active channels - you can guess the impact on performance. In case TP-Link haven't noticed, it's now 2023 and way past time that this basic setting is available. I've gone back to my old Telstra SmartModem2 + three ethernet-connected SmartModem2's configured as access points, which gives me much better speed that I can get with TP-Link.
