I have a TL-WR802N and am using as a client system.  I have linked this to an oil reading system called an Olive.  It's a community system that measures the amount of heating oil I have left in the tank.  I was using a 4G system by EE.  Now I have a landline system to the wireless router which is linked to Plusnet, which is our broadband provider (this may not be relevant to the problem, but I thought it might be useful.  I could not get the link from the TP-Link TL-WR802N from my Windows 10 desktop computer.  The OLIVE system keeps sending me emails that there are no communication readings coming through.  I tried several things, connecting to - http://192.168.0.1 /  http://tplinkwifi.net.   Neither of these things worked.  I then reset the unit and re-tried these two settings again and nothing. I do see the unit on my desktop computer along with my service provider and the Roku unit.  I also tried accessing it by clicking on that link, which goes to the two settings.  I get the same response -

Oops! It looks like you aren't connected to your TP-Link network. Please check your network connection and try again.  Visit official TP-Link website >

Is there a fix for this problem?  Thanks for reading, hope you can help

hello,

To login to the web interface:

1. Ensure that your device has connected to the router only.

2. Open a web browser and enter 192.168.0.1 or tplinkwifi.net in the address bar and give it a go.

3. Otherwise, please check the default gateway of your device and use it to access the internet: https://www.tp-link.com/en/faq-838.html

4. Meanwhile, you can use different web browser and devices to access.

5. Besides, you can try to reset the router and login with the default username and password.

Here is an instruction you can refer to: https://www.tp-link.com/en/faq-2236.html

After that, you can reconfigure it. While if the windows 10 desktop can get internet from the main router, then it is suggested to contact the tech support of the Olive system to get some specific help, like any special settings need to be done on the 802N.

May it help. Good day.
