Model: Archer C5400X
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.0

Does anyone experience issues with c5400x gaming router. The 2x 5Ghz networks can have significant speed differences in the same location in my home. I.e. 5ghz network 1 downloads @20mbps and 5Ghz network 2 downloads @200mbs +

There is no Qos enabled and i’ve even stripped the devices connected to just an iPhone and swapping between both 5ghz networks to test the speed. Same problem. Even swapping the channels around makes no difference.

I’ve had the model replaced and it’s still an issue. I can only think there is something wrong in the hardware or software. So I’m about to switch to different make and model.

However was interested in case it’s a known issue. Many Thanks.

Hello,

May I know who is your internet service provider and the speed you paid?

How did you change the wireless channel? You can refer to the below instruction.

https://www.tp-link.com/en/faq-469.html

Note: You can go to advanced-system tools-system parameters to enable 5GH-1 WDS function to find the best channel.

Besides, please check the wireless link speed with your computer connected to that 5GHz network.

Note: Please show us the picture as well.
