I have succesfully configured my TP Link (I think!) The Signal light is solid green although not the 2.4/5 lights. Do I have to join the new TP link network on my phone? I have tried this (but was not asked for a password) & it looks as though it has connected (signal on phone looks ok) but wifi does not work. What have I done wrong?

Hi,

 

In your case, extender should be failed to configured with 2.4G or 5G off.

 

Please give it a hard reset and reconfigure again.

Reset: press the reset hole/button on it with it on for 10s until all lights on and off.
