My Archer T2U Dual Band does not connect to 5 ghz Network after windows update.
My computer got an Windows Update. Now, I am no longer able to connect to my 5G network. I CAN, however, connect to the 2.4G network just fine. went ahead and updated to the latest drivers from your site, but to no avail. When i try to connect to the 5 ghz one, the adapter shuts down.I even called to Technical Support and they tryed everything and still nothing..
I also tried to roll back the driver to the previous version, but this didn't work either.

YOu have relesed a new driver? Where? Because your website offers a very old driver from 2017. So can you publish that driver so we can update TP-Link driver?

It is an internal driver which is still under test, that is why we do not release it publicly.
I will email you the instruction to install it, please check your inbox.
Meanwhile, to locate the submit failure issue, could you please show us a screenshot of the error message and the link of contact info?

Why not post the details to update to this new driver here so people can give xou quick responses if it works or not...
It would at least help the people for the time being until you release a new driver. Also you wouldnt need to tell everyone to contact you individually
I fully understnad that a not finished driver has its own problems but at this point better than nothing

"It is an internal driver which is still under test, that is why we do not release it publicly."
Internal driver which is still under test? Seriously guys WTF are you doing there? Date today: 12.07.2019, But the driver your support sent to me is over 1 year old ->
Driver date: 13/06/2018
Driver version: 5.1.36.0
And no it did not fix the problem. Still can't connect 5GHz network with Archer T2U. Same time no issues with other devices. And still with Archer T2U 2.4GHz gives me maximum 50Mbps not 150Mbps as promised. So nothing changed.
I hope to get fix at elast one of these problems as soon as possible. 50Mbps is toooooo slow.

Hi,
Hope this works for you - I am in the United Kingdom. Windows 10 home edition, all current updates applied as of 13.07.19
Mine worked fine until I swapped my laptop HHD for a SDD. Then all ok with 2.4Ghz, but no 5Ghz showing.
So I swapped the drives back and hey presto 5Ghz worked! So I wrote down all the settings I could find, then swapped the drives back over. 5Ghz not working. So I changed the settings to mirror those that worked on the HDD and hey presto, I now have 5Ghz. Here are the settings:
Driver version: 5.1.34.0
Laptops buit in wifi and ethernet adapters = disable
In the Archer adapter properties:
All boxes ticked apart from Microsoft adapter multiplexor protocol.
AP Mode Force = disable
Channel Mode = 2.4 & 5Ghz
Country region 2.4 = #1 (1-13)
Country region 5 = # (36-140)
IEE802.11n = enable
Multimedia = disable
Prefer 5g = enable
Radio = enable
Roaming = disable
Selectice suspend = enable
Selective idle timeout = 5
Also ensure Hotspot 2.0 use online signup to get connected = On
Fingers crossed for you!
