like how much in meters if i want to receive a wifi signal from a litle bit far router  ( 50% signal  ) will it be able to catch it ?

It depends on the host router and the network environment. It is suggested for you to put the extender where you can get 3 or 4 signal bars from your host router. We can use a smartphone to check the signal strength.

In nornal case, we can put the range extender about 10-15 meters away from the host router on the same floor without barriers between them. The real distance varies from different environments.  

 

It is really suggested for you to put the extender where you can get 3-4 signal bars from the host router to get a good performance.

so it's maxuim reciving range with walls in between and with 50 signal is about 10 meters ?
