Archer C6 IPTV issue
Hello
We have found possible hw issue with archer C6 with any firmware. If we transfer across router more bandwidth than 300 mbit/s download and upload (router is sold as gigabit!), IPTV (no matter if it´s one or mode, multicast or just unicast), CPU threshold will rise to 100%, management is very slow or unusable, and IPTV is lagging.
Seting QoS or any else managment setting will not change anything.
This could be serious bug in firmware. Could be also hardware limitation of main chipset. Could please anyone advise, if you occured same problem, or simillar?
Thanks
ProML

Hi,
What is the current network topology? Please show us how do you connect these devices to each other.
Meanwhile, how did you test it?
If possible, please shot a short video of the current issue and send it to us.
When and where did you buy it as well?
Thanks in advance, and have a nice day.

Hello
We tested it by mikrotik bandwidth test and packet generator - we tried to to transfer between WAN and LAN port, and between only LAN ports (without NAT and routing) traffic equals to 300, 400 and 500 mbit/s. After 300 mbit/s, the CPU is around 80-100% but not 100% at all time.
If we transfer across WAN-LAN ports or only LAN-LAN ports more than 400 mbit/s, the CPU wil rise to 100%, management browsing is very slow and inaccessible after some time, and IPTV will lag. Even with enabled QoS.
We have bought 7 C6 routers in Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland.
In folder Advanced - Network - IPTV/VLAN, we found must be allowed IGMP Snooping. If not, you could transfer maximum and any download /upload through router without any lagging IPTV and any download /upload. If you test it like that, you must find same problem too.
Could you please repair it in firmware.
Thanks
ProML
P.S.: Please provide at least email on which we could send you video, of router behavior. Here is limit to only 10MB files
