Adding to existing powerline setup
I have an AV500 PA4010P set up bought a 2/3 years ago - comprises two plug in adaptors. I would like to extend the wifi further in the house and into a new garden room which has power. Can I simply buy more adaptors and just plug them in to the mains sockets? And if so what model should i buy? Or do I need to start again with new kit? Any help gratefully received. Thanks. Rick

Hi,
All the TP-Link powerline adapters are compatible with each other.
If you want to add another powerline adapter into the current 4010, it is suggested to buy a 4 series, like TL-WPA4220, TL-WPA4226.
https://www.tp-link.com/home-networking/powerline/
Note: The mode starts with TL-WPAxx supports wifi function, while TL-PAXXX does not.
And you only need press the pair button to add the new unit.
Instruction as below:

I see that this thread is 2019. Can I just check that it is still true that all powerline devices are compatible? I have been using two AV200+ for many years - is it really the case that I can buy two new adaptors and they will work with those old AV200+ ?
