Found a serious Bug in Archer c2300 latest firmware.
Hello.
I found a very serious Bug issue on latest firmware for Archer c2300.
The bug is that when i click on > Advanced > System Tools > System Parameters > Internet Port Negotiation Speed Setting > Speed & Duplex: > 1000Mbps Full Deplux >
When you click on "Save" to have 1000Mbps Full Deplux then it says: Wan port is unplugged.
What to do? And when will this annoying bug issue fix for me and milion of people that use Archer c2300 ?

Hi,
There is NO feedback yet, and we tested at our lab and we can change it to 1000Mbps Full Deplux and save it successfully.
May I know is there any device connected to the WAN/Blue port of the C2300 when you do that?
Please show us a screenshot of this page and a full screenshot of the advanced-status page at that point as well.
Nice day.

Currently the newest firmware for the c2300 v1 is Archer C2300(US)_V1_180611. Now, given other companies have released newer firmware to fix or lockdown their routesr so hackers can't get into the network. Asus, Linksys, netgear and Dlink have all released updates to their equipment in the last 6 months. When will TP-link be putting out it's updates to it's routers?
While the router is a great product, I want to make sure bad people can't get in my network.
Support what is the eta?
The last update is almost a year old now.

For your information, a new firmware will be released if there is any new feature added, or any bug fixed.
So far, the Archer C2300 works great, not such security issue reported by you customers, and we TP-Link cares about the experience/performance of our product, we will keep working. So please be assured about it.
You can keep an eye on our offiical website for more updates.

Have you checked the reply from mkk? Please ensure the modem supports 1000 Mbps, or you can leave it as Auto to confirm.

Do you mean the negotiation speed between the ISP modem and the C6 is limited at 100Mbps even you leave it on Auto? Please share us the screenshots on your C6 web interface about the LAN and WAN negotiation:

It is also suggested changing another wired device with gigabit Ethernet ports to do a test. Even test this with a brand new cat 5e or cat 6 cable, please.
