When i change the band of my router to the 5GHz band. I can't find the wireless network anymore. As I'm using windows 7 64-bit or Windows 8 64-bit I can't install the utilities and I can't find any other way to change the band. When will there Windows 8 or even 64-bit support? That said, the connection with my router is really crappy...

I would like to know this as well.

It's great the adapter plugs n plays in Win 8 for me, I can't find a way yet to let me see what band it is using, let alone how to switch it..... the manual has pretty pictures of the utility that you can use to do that, but only if your on xp??? Still???? I finally got a utility update on my trusty ol 722 usb wifi for Win 7, then I get the wdn4800 for my desktop with Win 8, and I'm SOL????

On their user manual, the utility can detect 2.4 and 5 GHz network at the same time...Why you can not install the utility ??? Any error message ?
