Model: M7350
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.1.3

Hi

I have just subscribed to Iliad for use of a mobile calls and data SIM in Italy.

The SIM is working perfectly for data, calls, SMS etc. I have tested everything in an iPhone.

BUT when I put the SIM into the M7350, it shows Unknown ISP.

Is there something I need to change on the router / hotspot. ?

OR...is a Service Provider problem and I need to speak to them ?

Any help appreciated .

Thank you.

@Easin @Sharky007

It seems that the sim card was detected but no default APN found, therefore no internet works.

Please create a profile manually with the APN information to give it a go.

First, click here to login to the web UI of the M7350.

Then go to Advanced-Dial-up-Dial-up settings page, and click create to do that.

May it help.

@Sharky007

With sim card inserted into the M7350, does internet work normal?

There are some ISP info built-in by default, but not all of the available ISP yet.

It is fine if the ISP was detected as unknown ISP, it won't affect the actual performance of the M7350.

Thank you for your reply.

Yes the SIM works perfectly ok in myt iPone. Data, Calls, SMS etc.

But the Unknown ISP message shows when in the TP-LINK 7350.

You said it might work anyway, but unfortunately it doesnt. I get no data use at all when I connect.

I am looking at all teh settings and it says No Default APN found but I dont seem to be able to do anything wioth that.

So I really dont know what to do next.

Any guidance from anyone would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi. I didnt find a solution yet. I have replied to Kevin_Z who was kind enoiugh to answer but he felt it should work even with the rror, but it doesnt, so I have given more detail in my reply to him below. Do you have exactly the same problem ? The SIM is fine for data calls etc when used in a phone but not in the M7350 ?

Sorry, maybe my reply wasnt clear.

When the SIM is inserted, NO the internet does not work.

My gut feeling is that it is a setting problem, but I cant see what, and some settings I dont seem to be able toc change either.

i.e. APN, and auto/manual carrier etc.
