TL-PA9020P is faulty!
I purchased the TP-Link TL-PA9020PKIT 2-Port Gigabit Passthrough Powerline Starter Kit from Amazon on the 9th of February.
It was working fine till last night.
I switched off my computer at 17:30 to go out for a drink and when i returned around 23:00 there was no internet connection and the unit LED lights were all off.
I changed wall plug, still nothing. Dead.
I connected both devices in the same room, nothing.
The unit is just dead and is not seen in the TP-link application either.
The pass through socket is working anyhow. I just don't know what is wrong with the unit.
The other unit is working fine.
I am currently using one of the TL-PA9020P with an old AV200 TP-Link unit, however connection is pretty low.
Can this be RMAed or should i just dump it and get another set?
This is the third TP-Link Powerline i am buying and they seem to die in about a year from purchase date.
I had AV200, AV600, and now this is dead.
Should i open this up and try to fix it? Is it possible?
I contacted TP Link support by phone and they hung up after 15 minutes of telling me to do what i already did till 3 am.
I sent an email too and waiting for their reply.
