Can I connect a switch to a salve M9?
My network is connected like this:
Modem---Master M9---Switch--- tons of other cabled devices
Through WiFi: Master M9- - - Slave M9 #1 - - - Slave M9 #2
I would like to use an extra switch after the M9 #2. When I connect a cable the M9 starts blinking red and my WiFi goed down :-/
Is my setting possible of are there alternatives? I cant wire my #1 and #2.
Best regards

Hi @Kevin_Z.
I just solved my issue. The #2 switch was hanging probably. I preformed a full reset and configured the switch by only disabling DHCP. Now I connected my M9 #2 to the #2 switch and it works fine.
Sorry for the misleading questing, I should have analysed better.
Thanks for your help.
best regards TheNic

What is the model number of the 2 switches?
With 1st switch disconnected and the 2nd switch connected to the master only, does it work properly?
Meanwhile, you can swap their locations to have a try.
Do you mean all the Deco M9 plus starts blinking red and wifi signal goes off?
How do you make it back to work after it stops working?

Thanks for your response @Kevin_Z
Hereby my answers:
What is the model number of the 2 switches?
1. Modem---Master M9---ZYXEL GS-10BS vvS witch--- tons of other cabled devices
Desired: 2. Through WiFi: Master M9- - - Slave M9 #1 - - - Slave M9 #2------Sitecom WL-370v1
I am not usig DHCP on this router assuming the M9 has this responsibility.
With 1st switch disconnected and the 2nd switch connected to the master only, does it work properly?
Yes it does.
Meanwhile, you can swap their locations to have a try.
The ZYXEL has 8 ports and the Sitecom only 4. If I swap them, 3 connected devices will loose their connection.
Do you mean all the Deco M9 plus starts blinking red and wifi signal goes off?
No, only the #2 but the WiFi is down and doesn't work.
How do you make it back to work after it stops working?
I have the reboot my modem and all M9s except #2, this one I have to reconfigure because it keeps blinking red, even after several restarts.
PS. When I connect my laptop to #2 I have the same result as when connecting the Sitecom.

Thanks for your reply.
You mentioned that you are not using the DHCP on the router, do you mean Deco M9 plus? What are their operation modes now?
Please ensure that there is no IP conflict between the 2 switches; otherwise, you need change one of them manually.
Try to swap the locations of the 2 switches is to do a comparison analysis. To verify whether it is the slave Deco 2 itself, or it is related to the current network diagram or so.
Do you have the same issue with devices connected to the slave Deco #2 by wirelessly?
Try to swap the 2 slave Decos and check whether it works fine with the sitecom switch connected.
If still the same, is there any error message showing up on the Deco app? Like the 3rd Deco is offline or so?
At that time, please click here to check the IP address and gateway with your computer connected to it.
Thanks a lot.
