I want to ask:

Why you make manage control for HTTP for only 1 IP/MAC?

Can you add like the old routers, menu with at least 4 mac address or local IP's

Because I can only access the router now from one PC, not two or 4 like before.

Can you update the bios, please?

Hello, we can login to the web UI with one device at once due to security and privacy.

 

You can connect other devices to the TD-W9980 and use the gateway or the domain name to access it.

The best solution that you or your team did a lot of time ago is the default wifi password that you put in every new router!


In "dark" market there is a lot of different software for resetting any router, even cisco*( if you have the local connection of course), you need the password for the wifi first.


But for this is another software/hardware tool of course of a price of 100$ *(aliexpress) or even you can find for less there is not a home router that you can not hack.

 

And for the mac address is easy to copy and if you have the bruce force software you don't need to find the mac address just reset it... after you using the wifi "breakthrough software/hardware tool again"

 

But for the IP address, it takes a lot of time to guess. And again there is not a big solution to protect your router.

 

Thanks, I know that, but can you change this at least to 2 devices?
