For guests in onother room I would like to offer a SSID and password different from the host ones. The extended SSID can easily changed, but the password is automatically the same as for the host. Is there any way to have a different password for the extended wifi?

@MarcoTrevisan

Hello, the wifi password of the extender must be the same as the host wifi password.

You can regard the extender as a computer, in order to connect it to the host wifi, you need use its own password.

If you want to provide a isolated network for your guests, you can verify whether the main router supports guest network.

May it help.
