Model: Archer D9
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

I recently bought Archer D50 , I would like to know what's the Storage limit for sharing External storage using the USB port provided in the router.

What I need : At least 4 TB of storage
What I'm thinking to buy and use : Seagate Backup Plus Hub ( Has his own Power Supply )

Will that work? , Is there a work around to make it work?

@MoSalah

Hello, thanks for your requesting.

Cause the Archer D50 is ages old, we would say it supports 2TB HDD.

Meanwhile, as you mentioned, the USB drive you preferred needs external power supply, usually our router can power up the HDD; to avoid the potential loss, it is not suggested to use HDD with external power supply.

Good day.
