@Ddds

Hello, you can block one device from accessing internet.

Open Deco app, go to more-blacklist and add the device you want to block intenret and hit save.

May it help and have a good day.

Thanks for your reply.

There is another way to block the internet of a device.

You can add this device to parental control and create a profile for the same kind of clients. Then you can click pause button to block internet of the clients belonging to the specific profile. Then they will not be able to access internet but can access the local devices.

Below is the instruction to setup parental control: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1598/

Good day.

No that will block it from accessing the WiFi right? I want to allow it to connect to the local network but not the internet. My question was I bit vague so I edited it.

@Ddds

You can try to add them into blacklist, and then as we tested, the devices connected to the Deco's network still can access the local devices.

You can give it a go and test whether it works.

Good day.

@Kevin_Z It blocks the device from WiFi as the documentation also states it should.

is there no way of doing this? It seems like a much more basic feature than the parental controls that are there.
