Model: TL-WA850RE
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 1.0.0 Build 20181107 Rel. 73626

I have been using this extender for quite some time. However, I have not been able to configure this with the 5Ghz network. I can only see 2.4Ghz networks. I have tried reset on the extender as well as the router but to no avail. Help would be appreciated.

Hi, the TL-WA850RE is a single band extender, which means it supports 2.4GHz only.

If you want to use 5GHz network, you need buy a dual band extender, like RE450, RE650.

Good day.
