Split a wall Ethernet point to give two wall Ethernet points
Complete nunce here. My house has pre-wired Ethernet to some rooms, but not my son’s room. In the living room is the house internet (Australian FTTN) and four Ethernet points, which each connect to four seperate points around the house. The wall in my son’s room is the same wall I already have a point on, just the opposite side. Currently I’m not using that point so one option would be to get an electrician to put in on the other side of 토토사이트 the wall for him. In an ideal world I’d like to split the current connection and have two points, one on each side of the wall. Is this possible, from one Ethernet connection coming from the router?
