Hi !

I have a problem with  my TP-LINK router, I am Unable to activate G.lite ADSL Mode

Router Model: TP-LINK TD-8961N

When I change the ADSL mode to G.Lite The xDSL LED indicator remain off, I can only change the ADSL mode to ADSL2+ AND ADSL2 and G.DMT, by the way The bandwidth provided by my internet service provider is 12 mb/s.

Can I get some help please ?

DSL LED should be solid on to get internet. 

 

Except change the modulation type to G.lite, you can change another phone line to connect the TD-W8961N.

 

And please remove the splitter if there has one, and hard reset the router by holding the reset button/hole for 10s with it powered on.

 

Still the same, you can give a call to the tech support of the ISP to verify the line quality. Or you can change another modem to do a comparison analysis.
