Hi TP-Link!
Do you have an ETA for the OneMesh support of RE450?
Thanks,

Hello, the estimated date to launch RE455 is still unsure, you can keep an eye on official website to get updates.
Yes, the date for firmware with OneMesh support for the RE450 V3 has been postponed, not cancelled; while considering it will not be released in the short run, you can order a range extender which supports Onemesh already.
May it help.

At the first beginning, it is planned to release firmware to support Onemesh for RE450 V3 only, now it has been postponed; It is suggested to install the firmware from the local TP-Link official website of the purchase location for your TP-Link device, otherwise it will be against the warranty.
The hardware version sold varies due to different countries and regions, the RE450 V3 EU version is available; while no US version. The RE455 V1 is a new product which is designed to support Onemesh, while the estimated launch time is still unsure.
Meanwhile, if you want to use the onemesh feature, you can order a onemesh router and extender, like Archer C7 V5 + RE300; for the RE450 and RE500, you can contact the retailer whether you can return them; if not, you still can use the two extenders to boost the wifi signal, just not able to build up the mesh wifi system together.
May it help.

Hello, sorry for the trouble caused here.
I understand your feeling; for customers who wants to use mesh system, it is suggested to order the products which support Onemesh already; but if somebody has TP-Link router or extender already, and they are planned to support Onemesh feature with firmware upgrading, then they can wait for the updates if not urgent.
Good day.

I'm more than happy, if OneMesh support for RE450 is only _postponed_, not cancelled. Please note that OpenWrt support is also coming for this device (https://openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/tp-link_re450), very good chances are that latest stable release is already running on it.
I'll try whichever comes first.
