Model: RE450
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

Is it possible to connect a TP Link Modem (MR400) to a TP Link Range Extender (RE450) by ethernet cable ?

The building I am in does not allow for a strong enough signal between the 2 devices for the range extender to work.

Thanks

@Panania.Jim

You can connect the RE450 to the MR400 directly by wired cable. The MR400 works in router mode, and the RE450 works in access point mode.

Below is the instruction to set it up as the AP.

May it help.
