Wi-Fi to the residents. Unfortunately his apartment is at the end of a hallway and the Wi-Fi signal is very weak.

His Dell XPS 8700 desktop's onboard WiFi only shows one bar of signal and speed tests yield 512 Kbps, so pages a  routerlogin re loading very slowly for him and not allowing him to watch streaming videos above 240p, etc. mwhatsapp web  

It's unlikely that the facility will install a Wi-Fi extender, so I am wondering if a better, long-range Wi-Fi adapter would help. n

Does anyone having any product recommendations that would have a stronger transmitter/receiver for his Dell XPS 87 n192.168.0.1 00, which has a PCIe 2.0 slot and USB 3.0 ports?

Hello, there are some network expansion devices that can be used to boost wifi signal, like the range extender and powerline adapter. 

 

For the range extender, you can connect the extender to the main router to boost the wifi signal; for the powerline adapter, the main unit connects to the main router by wired cable, and the extender unit will be relocated to extend network after you paired them.
