Sir,

We the Internet Service Provider (BSNL) have observed in several cases that TL-WR940N router often goes orange/amber even though Internet is available in the GPON/GEPON modem.  When router is rebooted or LAN cable connected between modem and WAN port of the router is replugged, then the internet is restored by LED turning to blue.

What may be the issue with the router ?????  Please suggest.

Regards,

ALFRED,

Jr.Telecom Officer,

BSNL.

@PANDEETI

Hello, below are some suggestions:

1. When the led turns orange/red, please login to the web UI of the TL-WR940N to verify whether it has the valid IP address and gateway.

2. In the meantime, connect a PC to the modem directly bypass the TL-WR940N and confirm whether you can access internet.

3. If it works well, you can connect the PC to the TL-WR940N by wired cable to clone the MAC address.

4. Please ensure that the firmware is up to date.

May it help.
