Archer C9 - Catalina/SMB support for remote harddrive?

Was told by a customer support person to write a post requesting support for remote harddrive access on Catalina as SMB isn't supported anymore!
So here I am, requesting that please!

hello, you can use FTP via internet to access the hard drive remotely.
And what do you mean SMB does not support? The Catalina does not support Samba anymore?
