Model: Archer A7
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 1.0.14 Build 20200220 rel.33197

My router slows down my connection after few days of use. It works perfectly after I reset it.

I have the latest firmware.

Can an official support solve this one for me?

Thanks in advance.

@edi.celar

Hi, we can do some troubleshooting first.

What is the normal speed you can get from Archer A7?

Do both wireless speed and wired speed slow down? How much have they slowed down?

Do you mean reboot by saying reset the device to recover the router?

Have you ever enabled any advanced features, like QoS?

Good day.

@Kevin_Z

My speed drops drastically to the point I can't even surf the ordinary html pages.(0.1mb/s)

This happens randomly in a span of 3-4 days.

Yes, by rebooting(turning it off and then on)

the router returns to normal speeds (60mb/s)

Both wireless and wired connections slow down.

The defualt modem/router(I got from my ISP) is in bridge mode.

No idea if I have QoS on. If it's there by default then it's enabled(I havent touched advanced settings of my Archer A7 router)
