REplacing a SKY ADSL router
Hi all,
I need to replace a SKY ADSL router but need one that features DHCP 61 (MER).
Having waded through the specs I can not find this mentioned?
Doing a web search seems to suggest that TP-Link is the best choice to replace the Sky ADSL Modem/Router but confirmation from someome on here whao has done it and with which model would be great.
Any experirnce of adding an eero mesh system appreciated.
Thanks

Hello, I am a newbie to this forum as i have just started researching the possibility of replacing my Sky SR203 FTTC VDSL modem/router with what appears to be the most frequently talked about, but little detail as to which TP-Link units are suitable. I have been considering using the Linksys MX12600 Wifi6 units as well as replacing the SR203, but I am unable to find details. Which TP-Link moden/routers can be used? I require DHCP option 61 and Mer. Which TP-Link router/modems have that opton?

Hi, Our modem such as Archer VR900 supports MER but SKY doesn’t allow the third-party modem to connect, therefore we cannot ensure that our modem will definitely work with SKY.
Thank you.

@TP-Link Why did you recommend a unit that is no longer available? Which current models have VDSL2 MER and DHCP Option 61?

@BGJS I have purchased a VR2100 to see if I can get that to work.
